1. Can StoneSkirt be
installed on an existing home? Yes. StoneSkirt is not limited to new construction. StoneSkirt can be applied to both new and existing homes. 2. How often do I replace StoneSkirt? Never. Other types of skirting may require replacement or repair after one, two, or three years. Durable and permanent, StoneSkirt is made of high density concrete, which eliminates the need for future replacement. Additionally, StoneSkirt is unaffected by weed-whackers, wind, hail, or other factors that can damage other types of plastic, vinyl, and wood skirting products. 3. Do I need a mason to install my StoneSkirt perimeter foundation? No. StoneSkirt’s segmental concrete units assemble with patented I-Beam technology, eliminating the need for highly skilled masonry labor. 4. How does StoneSkirt compare in cost with traditional masonry applications? The installed cost of StoneSkirt is usually much lower than the installed cost of traditional masonry. StoneSkirt is mortarless and does not require the additional time and material needed for traditional masonry. Plus, StoneSkirt can be built in any type of weather condition. 5. Can StoneSkirt be installed on sloping or varied terrain? Yes. Varied terrain is no problem for StoneSkirt! StoneSkirt is easily "stepped" up or down to match the slope. After landscaping, StoneSkirt looks like a regular perimeter foundation. 6. Can I move StoneSkirt with my manufactured home? Yes. StoneSkirt is easily disassembled for re-installation at your new home site. 7. How long will StoneSkirt last and is it warranted? StoneSkirt units are made of concrete and will last as long as any quality concrete or masonry material such as concrete block, brick, etc. StoneSkirt units are manufactured under strict standards and carry a 20-year limited warranty. 8.
